On September 14, 2013 parents and friends joined Samuel Albright Jr. for his Eagle Scout Court of Honor

Sam knew that the location of the fire hydrants in Shrewsbury Borough had not been updated in years. For his eagle project, Sam took the initiative to help verifying the GPS location of all the fire hydrants in the area. He found that some of them where missing in or recorded in the wrong location. Thanks to his efforts the fire company vehicles already equipped with GPS Navigation systems would be able to find them in snowy days or to point them out to Maryland Fire companies that respond to Shrewsbury Fires.
